PICC Hosts Lakad-Pamana: A Heritage Walk

An afternoon spent falling in love with a National Cultural Treasure.
Valued clients, members of the diplomatic corps, and partners from the travel and tourism sectors were invited to the PICC on May 28 to participate in our “Lakad-Pamana: A Heritage Walk” in celebration of National Heritage Month.
PICC General Manager Nicolette Ann P. Cruz warmly welcomed the guests at the start of the activity. “We are more than just a convention center, we are more than just a physical platform of commemoration and celebration. The PICC is an ultimate embodiment of Filipino pride and patriotism. The PICC is a beautiful, unrivaled brutalist weave of Filipino heritage and innovation,” she shared.
Guided by writer, film and theatre actor Gabe Mercado, guests then explored PICC’s newly restored spaces and gained a deeper appreciation of the architecture, history, and cultural significance that have made it the venue of choice for the country’s most important gatherings over the past five decades.
