PICC Management and Staff Thank BSP Governor Benjamin E. Diokno

The management and staff of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Inc. express its gratitude to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor and Chairman of the PICC Board of Directors Benjamin E. Diokno, who will be leaving the BSP and PICC to serve as the new Secretary of the Department of Finance.

Governor Diokno chaired the PICC Board from March 2019 until June 2022. His dynamism enabled PICC to remain operational and sustainable even during the pandemic.

He also actively promoted the PICC by using the Center as a venue for a number of important events during his brief but substantial term, such as the Philippine Economic Briefing, and the launch of the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion.

The PICC family also welcomes BSP Governor Felipe M. Medalla and BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat as its new Chairman and Vice-Chairperson, respectively. 

The other members of the PICC Board of Directors are Judge Carlos M. Flores, Dr. Jocelyn J. Yambao-Franco, General Manager Renato B. Padilla, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta, and Ms. Susan S. Villar.
