NO. OF VACANCY: One (1) Job Order vacancy
JOB SUMMARY:
The Safety Engineer supports the organization in ensuring compliance to local and international regulations and standards by providing assistance in the design, planning, development, implementation and monitoring of PICCI’s overall safety and occupational health programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety inspections
- Risk assessment and hazard control
- Monitor safety compliance (DOLE Regulations and Occupational Safety and Health [OSH] Standards)
- Prepare reports and documentation relating to OSH
- Investigate accident and incidents
- Maintain safety records and reports
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS GUIDE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering course (Safety, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and/or Industrial)
- With training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and/or Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COS)
- Occupational Safety Health experience is an advantage
- Computer literate
- Process technical communication skills
