PICCI Takes Part in the 2024 Campaign to End Violence Against Women

The Philippine International Convention Center, Inc. (PICCI) joined the national observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women held from November 25 to December 12, 2024. With the theme “UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines,” the campaign served as a reminder of the urgent need to eliminate all forms of gender-based violence.
As in previous years, PICCI marked its participation through a range of activities aimed at spreading awareness and supporting survivors. These included:
Installing campaign banners in key areas of the Complex
Illuminating the Delegation Building in orange as part of the #OrangeYourIcon campaign
Encouraging employees to wear orange on designated days
Sharing informational materials through billboards, social media, email, GAD advocacy board, pipe-in music, and videos that reinforced the campaign’s message and community Prayer for VAWC Victim-Survivors in daily prayers
By taking part in this annual initiative, PICC underscored its support for efforts that seek to eliminate violence against women and foster safer, more respectful communities.
